So sorry for your loss. Ms. Lola was an amazing person.

Thank everyone for your words of love and sympathies for Lola. I am always amazed at the amount of love she generated in this world.  We are recipients of her gift to us. She made all of us feel better. She made us feel loved. May Lola rest in peace with the only thing we can take with us from this earth- love.

It has been my privilege to know the Folse family for 50 years (met Tessie first, then Stormy, and then Arthur & Greg). I was 15 years old when I met Mr. and Mrs. Folse for the first time. All they needed to know was that I was friends with Tessie and Stormy. They invited me into their home, greeted me with love, and made me feel like I was a member of the family. As a teenager in the 1960s, I wasn't used to such treatment, and I haven't forgotten it to this day. Mrs. Folse always called me “Mick” when we were visiting with each other over the years. I can still hear the cheerful sound of her voice and see the warmth of her smile, memories that I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss.  The few times I was around her, she always had a smile on her face. I wish I could have known her better.

A "Lady" that will always be in all our hearts, Aunt Lola will live on with our love. My thoughts and prayers to all of her family and friends whose lives that Aunt Lola touched with her love.
She will be missed for sure but the memories live on.
The Folse and LaBruyere families have been blessed for having her in our lives and in our hearts.

What a joy it has been to know and love Lola for many years.  She had a loving spirit.  We looked forward to visiting her in Slidell. We mourn her loss with you.  Much love to all of you.

Dear Family,  I only met Mrs. Folse one time - at Greg and Bev's wedding.  She impressed me as a true lady.  She was willing to spin around the dance floor with me for one song.
