Lloyd was a native of New Orleans and resident of Metairie for over 50 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Lloyd was such a gracious man with a huge heart of gold. He was a friend to so many…no one was ever a stranger. Lloyd lit up the room the minute he walked in with that sweet smile and fun loving personality of his. He was one of the best dancers on the dance floor. Lloyd loved everything about Mardi Gras, and always cheered the home teams, the Saints and the Pelicans. A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held at a Memorial Service at Lakeview Presbyterian Church, 5914 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans, LA on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
