Linda grew up in Lubbock where she was a gifted student and a talented artist. She was a protective and loving big sister to Kathy and Steve Jr. Linda graduated from Monterey High School in 1967 before continuing her studies at Texas Tech University, majoring in art.
Linda’s adult life was as colorful and spirited as her art. With a gypsy soul, she roamed across the United States, working in a variety of roles, from sales and office support to food service. She dedicated over 25 years to caring for others as a respiratory therapist in New Orleans where she was a trusted and compassionate professional. After retirement, Linda worked as an extra for movies made in NOLA and also loved being an Airbnb hostess. She met people from all over the world.
Linda’s passions extended beyond her work - she adored estate sales, crocheting, and making jewelry. Her collections of limited-edition books, jewelry, videos, and unique New Orleans trinkets reflected her appreciation for the rare and beautiful.
