Beloved sister of Vera Lonegrass and the late Robert E. Dantin Jr., Archie Dantin, Rosemary Batchelor and Melba Dantin.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Ms. Dantin was a Retired secretary, A United States Army WWII Veteran, a native of Franklin, Louisiana and a resident of the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, Louisiana for the past seven years. She was a proud veteran, aunt , friend to many and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew her.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the wonderful caregivers of Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home for the love and care that they provided.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Monday evening April 7, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

A Graveside service will be held at Franklin Cemetery Main St. Franklin, Louisiana on Tuesday Morning April 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
