Leah Landry Lorio, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 3, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Lorio. Mother of Corrine Weber (Glen). Grandmother of Amber Weber (fiancé, Zac). Daughter of the late Herman John Landry and Marie Caminita Landry. Sister of the late Mary Ann Guillory. Aunt of Patricia Johnson, Louis Massie (Sharon) and the late David Johnson, Jr. Great aunt of Nicholas Massie and Ashley Sclafini. Great Aunt of Vincent. Mrs. Lorio was a homemaker and a secretary for several companies including Sears, Crosbie and Macomber, and Mr. and Mrs. Mehroff. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her granddaughter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday, February 10, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will be private at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
