Leah Offner Deutch on May 14, 2011. Wife of the late Sidney Deutch. Beloved mother of Philip Deutch (Roberta), Carole Katz (Morton) and Maureen Shellist (Don). Grandmother of Jennifer and Charles Deutch, Brian (Lisa), Andrew (Paige),and Jonathan Katz(Meggie), Elli Shellist (Abbie) and Tamara Gansz (Matt). Great grandmother of Kara and Sophia Deutch, Ethan, Logan, Courtlan, James and Daniel Katz, Langston and Avery Shellist, Gage and Owen Gansz. Sister of Miriam Becker (Jake). Daughter of the late Harry and Cecilia Offner. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barbara Harris and Demetries (Dee) Lee. Mrs. Deutch was a Chevra Thilim Sisterhood President, member of Hadassah, NCJW and ORT (Women’s American ORT), volunteer for Willow Wood, Charity Hospital Playroom-25 years, was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, Young Judaea, former owner and active employee with Harry’s Hardware until her 80’s along with being an avid bowler until her 80’s also. Graveside Service will be held at Jewish Burial Rites Cemetery, 4321 Frenchman on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Rabbi Ethan Linden officiating. Arrangements by Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N.
