Kathleen McArdle Johnson, age 73, of Harahan, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Kathleen was born on October 20, 1951 in New Orleans. She graduated in 1969 from St. Joseph High School in New Orleans. Kathleen was a valued employee of Blaine Kern, Jr. and Mardi Gras Productions for many years and became the first woman to call the meeting of Rex and Comus every Mardi Gras day. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Agnes Parish, Jefferson, LA.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Alton and Dorothy McArdle; and her siblings, Mildred Gumpert and Alton McArdle, Jr.
Survivors include her beloved daughter Colleen Margaret Johnson; her siblings, Lois McArdle, Erin Thomas (Wes), and Bridget Dressel (Lowell); and also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Homes, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am until 11:00am.
