Julius Simon Braud

Julius Simon Braud, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Son of the late John Davis Braud, Sr. and Maria Lucille Landry Braud. Brother of Harriet Braud and the late J.D., Roy, Althea “Tina”, Yvonne, Nita, Pamela, and Richard Braud. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A lifelong resident of Harahan. Mr. Braud served in the Korean War. He retired with over 30 years of service at Jefferson Parish Water Works. Mr. Braud was a student at Arthur Murray Dance Studio and attended many dances at Jefferson Orleans. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 am.
