Loving father of Naomi C. Seeber (late, Billy), Deborah C. Guidry (Gerard), Sharon C. Heath (Nicholas C. Martinez, Sr.) and Robin C. Keleher (Kevin). Son of the late Elda Guilliot Carmouche & Aledas Carmouche. Brother of Ila C. Couvillion (late, Kirby). Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren. Loving companion of Helen Bordelon LaBorde.

A native of Marksville, LA and a resident of Harahan, LA. “Papa Joe” retired from Matlock Transportation, Inc. after 40 years of service. He loved to travel with his wife and enjoyed spending quality time with his daughters and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Service at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Friday, October 26, 2012 at12:00 PM with a gathering following the service. Inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice for their compassionate care of “Papa Joe” and in lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 1000 Howard Ave., 10th Floor, New Orleans, LA 70113.
