Johnathan Joseph Luna entered into heaven on Monday, April 18, 2011. Age 23, a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Devoted husband of Katie Norman Luna of 2 years. Loving father of Ava Julia Luna. Son of Carmen Delia Luna Bennett, step father Michael Bennett and father Joseph John Bourgeois, step mother Lisa Dennis Bourgeois. Brother of Caitlyn Delia Bourgeois and Thomas Bennett. Brother in law of Michael Thomas Norman. Grandson of Rebecca D. Bourgeois and the late Walter Joseph Bourgeois, Jr. and the late Julia Sanchez Luna and Carlos Manuel Luna. Also survived by his wife’s grandmother Betty J. Coleman. Johnny was also survived by numerous loving cousins, other relatives and friends. There were many people that played an instrumental part in Johnny’s life: Maria and Michele; Gloria and Ray; Cyndi and Daniel; Miguel and Layton; Peter and Jodi; Michael and Jodi; Lisa.

Johnny will be sadly missed by all who loved him deeply.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until funeral time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
