I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out about the passing of John today. I served with him in Germany at Ray Barracks. I loved his sense of  humor.  When in the Gulf, we had a Sgt that refused to shower. John had recently showered at which point this Sgt asked “What’s that smell?” Ever so casually John said. Lol “It’s soap Sgt Wood, you should really try it” !. He was a good man. 

Oh John I miss you soooo much, I can't believe your gone. Life is so unfair you were too young had too much going for you. You spent the last years of your life building for a future you'll never  get to live. Being your girlfriend and having you in my life was the happiest I've ever been I wish we had more time together I love and miss you forever until I see you again RIP my sweetheart. You are my sunshine
