Jimmie A. Nichols

Jimmie A. Nichols, age 75, entered into rest on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Mr. Nichols was a native of Lynchburg, VA and was a resident of Jefferson, LA. Beloved husband of Wanda Dupre Nichols. Father of Tammy and Kenny Nichols and the late James “Ricky” Nichols. Brother of the late Violet Thiac. Son of the late Otha and Operal Nichols. Stepfather of Kenyon and Trista Childs. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Nichols retired from Southern Eagle Sales and Service after 33 years and was an active member of the Metairie Pontchartrain Lions Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a service for the Last Meeting at 7:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Graveside services and interment will be on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
