Herman J. Lamm

Herman J. Lamm passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Olga Lamm for 58 years. Loving father of Jeannette Lamm Soldani and father-in-law of Ronnie Soldani. Grandfather of Jacquelyn Monteilh. Also survived by Otto & Anna Lamm of New York and his extended family in Nicaragua and Miami, FL.

Herman served in the US Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a merchant marine for 36 years and is a member of the National Maritime Union.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 12:00 pm until funeral time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
