Henry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and lived most of his life in Jefferson Parish. He was a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School and the University of New Orleans.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Gerard Mock, Sr., and Edna Mae Neyrey Mock, and by his beloved sister, Marcia Mock Thibodeaux. Survivors include his brother Dr. Raymond Mock, Jr., and his wife Paulette of Port Allen, LA; his sister Maureen and her husband Charles Verderame of Metairie, LA; and his brother-in-law Devron Thibodeaux and his wife Helen Ruth of Pickens, SC. He is also survived by nieces: Therese Thibodeaux Stuckey of Metairie, Elizabeth Thibodeaux of Portland, ME, and Angelle Thibodeaux of London, England; by nephews: Raymond Mock III of Alexandria, VA, Paul Thibodeaux of Ville Platte, LA, Michael Verderame of Champaign, IL, and David Verderame of Metairie; and by several great nieces and great nephews.
Henry was a longtime employee of the Napoleon Room in Metairie. He was later employed by Schering-Plough as a professional medical representative; in 2005 he received the prestigious President's Cup Award for outstanding pharmaceutical sales. Additionally, Henry organized a support network for patients with Hepatitis C.
Henry loved a good time; he enjoyed music, travel, cooking, fishing, his cats, humor, satire, politics, philosophical debate, LSU, the New Orleans Saints, and all sports. He spent many good times with friends in Louisiana and Tennessee and especially with his nephews.
