Helen Duplissey Busby, daughter of the late William Avery Duplissey and Anna Dean Pitchford Duplissey passed away on Monday August 17, 2015 at the age of 85. Sister of William Avery Duplissey Junior. Aunt of Denise Duplissey Shannon and William Avery Duplissey III and wife, Marlene. Great Aunt of Connie and Steven Shannon and Gracie Marie Duplissey. Great, great Aunt of Devin Shannon, Madison and Charlee Kate Shannon. She was born in New Orleans and lived in Harahan for nearly 50 years. She moved to Hammond several years ago. She was a graduate of Sophie Wright High School and attended LSU. She was employed for more than 36 years in Nuclear Medicine at Touro Infirmary. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Friends and Relatives are invited to attend the evening Memorial Service for Helen on Friday August 21, 2015 at 8pm with the Memorial Visitation beginning at 6pm.
