Francis "Frank" Albert Doyle Jr.

Francis ‘Frank” Albert Doyle, Jr. age 84 of Metairie, LA died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by loving family on March 3, 2023. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Manning Doyle, his parents Francis A. Doyle Sr., and Rita Payne Doyle. He is survived by his children Stephen (Mary), Mary Frances, Greg (the late Laura Doyle), Gerard (Kari), and Michael (Emily); grandchildren Paul, Kayleigh, Anthony, Sean, Skylyn, Abby, and Ethan. He is survived by his brothers and in-laws Agnes (the late Ronald J. Doyle Sr.), Alvin (Mary), Albert, William (Jeanne), and Joseph (Cheryl) and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A native of New Orleans, LA. Frank grew up in the Irish Channel, graduated from Redemptorist High School and Tulane University. Previously a resident of Meraux LA, he moved to Metairie after Hurricane Katrina. He was a retired accountant from Bourgeois Bennett CPA and Consultants. He is a US Navy Veteran, having served both on active duty and in the Naval Reserves for a total of eleven years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 12:30 pm at St. Christopher the Martyr Church, 309 Manson Avenue in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Frank to the American Cancer Society Gallbladder Cancer Research.
