Beloved wife of the late Herbert H. Smith, after having shared 61 years of Sacred Marriage.

Loving mother of Larry Smith (and wife, Sharon), Daryl Smith ( and wife, Mary Ann) , Thomas Smith and the late Janice Lacour (and husband, Michael).

Devoted grandmother of Christine, Stephanie, Ryan and Melissa.

Daughter of the late Dominic Labure and Elmonia Ducote Labure.

Sister of the late Marion, Harry and Andrew Labure and Eldria Gaspard.

Also survived by seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Smith was a former Parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chalmette, Louisiana and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew her.

Aged 95 years, a native of Plaucheville, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana since Hurricane Katrina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
