Fern Lucille Harris Williams passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:35 am. Beloved wife of the late Christopher Abner Williams, Sr. Loving mother of Lucille “Lucy” Lange, Alvin Williams, Sr. and the late Christopher Abner Williams, Jr. Mother-in-law of Richard Lange and Mary Nobles Williams. Proud grandmother of Michelle Lange Forneris, Richard Lange, Jr., Alvin M. Williams, Jr. and Andrew Williams. Devoted great grandmother of Hunter, Dustin, Dylan, Megan and Kaitlynn Williams, Milani and Zander Forneris. Sister of the late Dorothy Redmond, Joyce Plaisance and Mary Williams. Daughter of the late Eva Jeanfreau and Dallas Harris. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Aged 85 years. A native of Plaquemines Parish, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for 20 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Tuesday morning December, 7, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit from 9:30 am until time of services.
