Fay Ann Meyer

Fay Ann Veca Meyer, born on October 21, 1935, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Metairie on Monday, August 4, 2014. She was the beloved wife of her one and only love of 45 years, the late Oscar Meyer Sr. Dear daughter of the late Larry and Ethel Veca. Devoted mother of Lisa Klock Martin (David), Cynthia Reynolds (Lou), and Oscar (Lucky) Meyer, Jr.(Kristie). Doting grandmother of Scottie and Christopher Klock, Brittany Reynolds Thomas, Matthew Reynolds, and Adam, Brandon, Jordan and Chance Meyer. Loving great grandmother of Tristan and Wyatt Klock, and Aevrie and Brayden Meyer. Fay Ann is also survived by her sister Betty Veca. Her greatest love was being a devoted mother and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone knew that playing cards with her very dear friends was her favorite pastime. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Visitation will be from 8:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral mass and interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
