Etta Friedberg,on Tuesday June 26, 2012. Wife of the late Harry Friedberg. Mother of Sybil F. Kline(partner Dr. Jack Hudson) Mother-in-law of the late Theodore Kline. Sister of the late Dora Sizeler , David Perlman and Isadore Perlman. Grandmother of Leslie Rau( Billy) and Leonard Kline. Great grandmother of Rebecca and Hannah Rau. Age 101. A lifelong resident of New Orleans. Mrs. Friedberg was a charter member of The Tuesday Monthly Literary Book Club for over 60 years and a member of Beth Israel and Touro Synagogue. Funeral service will be held at Tharp-Sontheimer, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, La.on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 2:30 pm with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment in Old Beth Israel Cemetery(4321 Frenchman St) The family would like to especially thank Imogene Cockerham, Cassandra Thomas, Helen Harris , Serenity Hospice and Lambeth House for their care and kindness.
