Eric James Catoire

Eric was born on November 30, 1956 in Metairie, Louisiana where he spent his formative years. He was a certified electrician and worked many years in construction. He was well known throughout his community for his outgoing personality and his avid love and enthusiasm for riding his Harley.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Catoire. He is survived by his mother, Mary Gay Catoire, brother, Douglas Catoire and sister, Charlotte Calico (David), his children, Erica Stubbs (Bryan), Melissa Stigler (Matthew), Jessica Catoire and Vanessa Moskau (Timothy). He is also survived by his grandchildren Payton Stubbs, Ashton Stigler, Carson Stigler, Olivia Moskau and Landry Moskau, along with his niece, Abigail Calico and nephews, Benjamin and Eyan Calico.

Eric will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and especially by his daughters and grandchildren whom he cherished deeply.

A visitation for Eric will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM.
