Emile Dominic Berner Jr.

Emile D. Berner, Jr., age 85, passed away on October 30, 2012. Husband of the late Margarette Pearce Berner. Father of Robert Larkan, Sr. (Starr) and the late Mickey Larkan. Grandfather of Robert Larkan, Jr. and Linda Larkan LaBauve. Brother of Gloria Berner Gardner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. Emile was a graduate of S.J. Peters High School. He retired from the Louisiana Welfare Department and New Orleans Charity Hospital. He was an active member of the S.J. Peters Alumni Shoulder to Shoulder Club and the Diamond Club.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will be at a later date in Valance Street Cemetery.
