Elvin Cochran (Pa) peacefully went to meet his heavenly Father on Monday September 19, 2011 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Wanda Davis Cochran, loving father of Karen Daigle (Larry), Kelvin Cochran, Annette Cochran and Darlene Glawson (John). Devoted grandfather of seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Survived by two sisters, Ruby Lama and Rhudean Freeman and one brother, Garland (G.C.) Cochran. Preceeded in death by one brother, O’neal Cochran and one sister Mildred Waits. Will be dearly missed by family and friends. Thanks to Father Pat Wattigny for his love and caring support. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Benilde Church Metairie, 1901 Division St. on Friday September 23, 2011. Visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Followed by Mass. Interment in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.
