Eleanor B. Walker

Eleanor Boudiette Walker passed away peacefully on June 28, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born on March 15, 1935 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was a longtime resident of the greater New Orleans area.

She was the Secretary / Treasurer of Walker Resources, Inc.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar Ezeriah Walker, her parents, Florence Lucille deGeneres Boudiette and Francis Edward Boudiette, and daughter-in-law, Elsa K. Hofstad Walker.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Boudiette Felkner, daughter, Eleanor Walker Henneman (Christopher), sons, Edgar Ezeriah Walker, Jr., Robert Morgan Walker (Donna), and William Walker (Phyllis), and grandchildren, Eleanor Sympson Rixey, Benjamin L. Walker, Laura W. Alba, William S. Walker, William Walker, Jr., Nathan Walker, Morgan H. James, Taylor A. Henneman along with 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Eleanor will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 5-8 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana.

Funeral Service with be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 3413 Haring Rd., Metairie, LA 70006 at 9 am.

Eleanor was a member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Augustine Altar Guild in her honor.
