Thanks everyone for the kind words.  Eddie would be pleased to know so many people thought so much of him.  In a way he was a clown and loved to make people laugh.  All the world was his stage.  Again thanks to all our friends and family for your comforting words

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Uncle Eddie.  My memory of Uncle Eddie was filled with jokes and laughter.  I can remember the poker games at grandmother's house with Uncle Nickie, My Dad, Uncle Clifford,  and Uncle Eddie.  I'm a lot older now but remember it just like it was yesterday.

I am very sorry to hear of Uncle Eddy's passing. Most of my memories date back to the late 60's and early 70's timeframe in Kenner and a couple visits to Houston in the 70's. I remember his jokes and funny stories, and how he used to make my Mother laugh!  Once in around 1972 He showed up in Houston pretending to be a shoe salesman at our door, I will never forget how excited we where to have been surprised with the visit!

I have many memories of Mr. Fabre;however, the one that stand out the most, was his keen sense of humor! He was a strong and hard man but a man with a soft heart! He always made me feel welcomed. Mr. Edward Fabre... your legecy continues.  our son Blake/ your grandson is a perfect image of you. He looks just like you and shares so many simular personality traits and he almost shares your birthday!! You will be missed by many, but the memories you left for all of us will never be forgotten!! Our Prayers will continue for you and your family God Bless you all!

I will really miss Eddie.  He always had a joke for me.  He was not like his brother (the serious one).  That is what Eddie called Freddie.

To the Schuette and Fabre family, Our prayers and love are with you.  We know what a difficult time this is as my father (David's grandfather) just died Nov. 26. My condolence goes out to Mrs.Joyce and family.I didn't no Mr.Fabre for a long time, but it felt as if I've known him for years.He and Mrs.Joyce welcome me in their home with open arms.Mr.Fabre and I laughed & watch the talk shows.He loved The Maury Show, Jerry Springer & Steve Wilko Show.It was never a dull moment with my visits with Mr.Fabre. Paw Paw we will miss you greatly. I saw Maw Maw stick some candies in your pocket today, save me one! I can't wait to see you and hear your jokes again, until then your smiles and laughter will live on through all of us.

I was sorry to here of Eddie's passing I remember when I first started at NOPSI how much Eddie taught me about the job and how to deal with the customers with a smile. My sympathy and prayers go out to the family, sorry I was unable to make the services today.

Eddie thanks for 54 years.  My life will be empty without you.  We did everything together from building things, cutting grass, cementing etc. Also my Casino buddy.  Jesus is with you now.
