Donald Daigre passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the age of 80. He was born on April 25, 1931 to Margaret McDonnell and Rivet Daigre in New Orleans, LA. Married to Carmen Daigre for 56 years but in love for 62 wonderful years. Father of Jennell Wilson and Michael Daigre. Father-in-law of Billy Wilson. He had four grandsons: Bradley, Douglas, Mark and Nicholas who truly loved their “Pops”. Also survived by Mary and Jack Breaux and Maerene Daigre. He was predeceased by his brothers: Rivet and Rene Daigre. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 am.
