Devoted grandfather of Danielle Ougel, Dennis Coughlin Jr., Diane Coughlin and Darlene Murray.

Grandfather-in-law of Michael Ougel and Kyle Murray.

Son of the late Dennis Coughlin.

Mr. Coughlin was a United States Army WWII Veteran serving in both the European and Pacific Theatres, a retired Training Supervisor with Delta Airlines with 30 years of service, a member of the American Legion Post# 367, a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Aged 91 years, a native of Worcester, Massachussettes and a resident of New Orleans and Metairie, Louisiana for the past 63 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church 4921 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie on Friday January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.

Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
