Dolores Woods

Dolores Woods 97, of Lakeland, Florida and New Orleans, LA; passed away December 8, 2022. Born May 28, 1925, in El Salvador, she was predeceased by her parents Edelmira and Julio Sandoval; siblings, Mercedes, Carmen, Francisco and Cruz; and husband, Norman Woods.

She is survived by siblings, Julio, Magdalena, Hector, Rigoberto, Antonio, Rosa, Hortensia, Estella; daughters, Sierra Uthe, Anna Wehle (Fred), and Tina Reif (Sean); grandchildren Sabrina Burgess (Tony), Kris Harvey, Justin Bergeron (Zoey), Fred Wehle (Katy), Ryan Wehle (Lauren), Alyssa Gryb (Zac), Alanna Rogers (Trenton), Arianne Reif; great-grandchildren Tori Tersteeg (Justin), Doug Landry, Mallory Landry, Blake Burgess, Charlotte Gryb, Lilyanna Gryb, and Dorothy Wehle.

Services will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie, LA on Saturday. December 17, 2022, with visitation at 10 am and funeral service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
