Dennis "Mike" Dominique

Dennis "Mike" Dominique, age 56, was born on August 23, 1957 and raised in the Irish Channel. He passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Father of Mandy Thibadeaux and two sons. Son of the late Emile Dominique, Sr. and Catherine “Catty” Clark Aicklen. Step son of the late Harry Aicklen, Sr. Brother of Wanda Dominique Varnado (Charles), Emile Dominique, Jr. (Phyllis), Gary Dominique, Laurie Aicklen and Harry “Bubba” Aicklen, Jr. Stepbrother of Greg and Anthony Dominique. Special nephew of Betty Boo Welch. Survived by three grandchildren a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.

He was a true Irish Man who loved St. Patrick’s Day and Mardi Gras and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys his whole life. He was very funny with a dry wit. He was deeply loved by his family and will be sadly missed. Special thanks to the family and friends for their care and support at his time of need.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 am.
