Born on June 24, 1951, in the quaint town of Harahan, Louisiana, Deborah's journey through life was marked by an unwavering spirit of warmth and kindness that touched the lives of all who crossed her path. Her story was woven intricately with the love she shared with her devoted husband, Michael Mula of nearby Morgan City, Louisiana.
Deborah's legacy lives on through the love she poured into her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael, and her adoring sons, David and Matthew. Alongside her daughters-in-law, Barbara and Cheri, she found boundless joy in the laughter and adventures shared with her precious grandchildren, Cindy, Mikayla, Anthony, Lillian, and Bailey, as well as her great-grandson, Glenn. Her siblings, Michael, John, and Elizabeth, as well as her cherished sisters-in-law Sandra and Mary, stand as a testament to the enduring bonds of family that she held dear.
Throughout her life, Deborah dedicated herself to her work at Pepper and Associates, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her colleagues. Her unwavering faith was the bedrock of her existence, evident in her lifelong commitment to St. Rita Catholic Church, where she served tirelessly within the Silver Trotters, the Bereavement Committee, and the president of the Home and School Association for St. Rita.
Yet, amidst her many commitments, Deborah found her greatest joy in life's simple pleasures—surrounded by her loved ones. Whether it was sharing laughter over movies, swaying to her favorite tunes, or basking in the love of her children and grandchildren, she exuded a radiant warmth and happiness that was truly infectious.
Deborah's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who were privileged enough to know her. Her gentle spirit, boundless compassion, and endless love will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she may have bid farewell to this world, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. Deborah Granier Mula will be deeply missed but eternally remembered with love and gratitude.
