Darren Joseph Mahler, age 47, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Darren was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of Norma Bartholomew Mahler for 12 years. Father of Nicholas John Mahler and Blake Michael Devine. Son of John J. Mahler, III and Marie Favaloro Mahler. Brother of Pamela Pizzaloto, Daniel James Mahler and the late Dennis John Mahler. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Darren was an employee of Cox Cable. Darren was an amazing father, husband and son. He had a generous heart, open arms, a great laugh and was always jovial. He will be missed forever.
