Clifford F. Roche Jr.

Clifford F. Roche, Jr. passed away on December 7, 2013 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Kastner Roche for 70 years. Loving father of Barbara Roche Wright and Drayton Roche (D.L.) Father-in-law of Paula Duke Roche and Thomas Wright (Wade). Son of the late Clifford Roche Sr. and Victorine Casana Roche. Brother of the late Drayton Roche and step brother Edward Dunn (Georgette). Grandfather of Michele Chulick (Keith), Michael Roche (Alyssa) and Jeffrey Roche (Julianna). He is also survived by six great grandchildren, Parker, Madysen, Matthew, Logan, Kendall and Roman. Preceded in death by great grandson Jeremy Roche. Also survived by dear friend of the family, Freda Ally.

Clifford was a U.S. Army (Rainbow Division) Veteran who served in World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart after being wounded in Germany. He was proud to serve his country and loved to talk war stories. He retired as a supervisor at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a dedicated and loving father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 11:00am.
