Charles "Bud" E. Shellenberger Jr.

Charles “Bud” E. Shellenberger, Jr. passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Beloved husband of Dorothy May Laurent Shellenberger for 67 years. Loving father of Judy McPeters (Richard), Kay Levy (late, John), Dotty Bairnsfather (Barry) and Virginia Genovese (Martin). Grandfather of Rich (Pamela) and Pam McPeters, Clifford Levy , Barry “Butch” (Kristen) and Scott (Rebecca) Bairnsfather and Joseph and Shelley Genovese. Great-grandfather of Andrew, Rileigh, Travis, Trent and Mia. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Shellenberger, Sr. and Lillian Rexroth Shellenberger, and his siblings, Sadie Garbrick (Paul), Geraldine Duffy (Jim), Virginia Powell (George) and Rexroth Snyder (Betty). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A native of York, PA and a lifelong resident of Harahan, LA. “Bud” served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He retired as Vice President from Ruello and Associates and was a dedicated member of the National Food Brokers Association and the VFW Post 3267.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
