Charles August Hermann, Sr., April 20, 1926-November 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Mildred Martello Hermann. Father of Charles A. Hermann, Jr, Michael John Hermann (Tammy), Larry Albert Hermann, Sr., Barry Hartwell Hermann and Bernard Joseph Hermann. Son of the late Louis Albert Hermann and Catherine Sesnan Hermann. Brother of Louis Albert, Evelyn Hermann and the late Mildred, Henerietta Mae, Catherine, Oswald John, Helen Rita, Bernard Francis, Eldridge Leroy, Selma and Melroy Clarence Hermann. Grandfather of Larry Albert, Jr., Douglas John, Kristine Marie, Gary Thomas and Rebekah Kay Hermann. Charles was previously employed by Falstaff Brewery and Dixie Brewing Company. He was a member of the Jackson Avenue Evangelical Church. Relatives and friends of the family, former employees of Falstaff and Dixie Brewery Co. and employees of K-Mart and the United States Postal Service are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 11:00 am from Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive.
