Carroll Philip Hebert II

Carroll Philip Hebert, II, age 73, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of Carol Maillian Hebert for 51 years. Father of Allyson Hebert Vinson (Joseph). Grandfather of Madison, Caroline, Jackson and Joseph Fitzgerald Vinson. Son of the late Carroll P. Hebert, Sr. and Leona B. Hebert. Brother of the late Kenneth Hebert. Brother-in-law of Gayle and Bob Jennings, Claire and Jim Masonhall and Nancy and A.J. Barcia. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, his hunting and fishing buddies and many friends. Mr. Hebert was a retired owner of Smith Tire Service, Inc. where he did tire vulcanizing and repair. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the St. Bernard Pistol and Rifle Range. Mr. Hebert was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at his camp in Cocodrie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, January 29, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Chad Barcia Athlete Awareness Foundation, 805 Central Avenue, Jefferson, LA 70121.
