Carlos Cuevas

Carlos Cuevas passed away peacefully the morning of September 22, 2015. He was 62 years old. He was survived by his loving mother Mercedes Canoy, brother, Max Canoy, daughter, Doris Cuevas Blache and his step-daughter Pamela O’Keefe. He was a lifelong resident of Kenner, Louisiana. He worked as a security officer for Merchant Security and was assigned to Fleur Du Lac Condominiums in Metairie. Carlos appreciated the residents there and was always talking about his “second family”. He was also assigned to the Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts and grew to love the staff and members of the theater. He also became a member of the congregation Inspire Church that also meets at the theater. Carlos had a kind nature and will always be remembered for his compassion to all those who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts, 325 Minor Street, Kenner, LA, on Thursday morning, October 8, 2015 at 11:00am.
