Audrey Valentine Piglia

On Wednesday July 13, 2016 Audrey Valentine Piglia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Timothy J. Valentine and Nora Behan Valentine. Beloved wife of the late William J. Piglia, Sr. Loving mother of Kathleen P. Vignes (Larry), Ann P. Brunet (Ronald), Peggy P. Bondio, William J. Piglia, Jr, Timothy P. Piglia (Gaiana), Stephen M. Piglia (Celia) and Shannon P. Cassara (Donald). Sister of Iris V. Niehues, Sister in law of Raymond F. Piglia (Jeanne), Gloria Montalbano, Margaret Skinner (Dan), Sandra W. Piglia and Patricia P. Ventura (Raymond) and cousin Carol A. Meyers. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Age 84 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie, LA on Saturday, July 16, 2016 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will be private in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the League of St. Jude or to the American Cancer Society.
