I am totally shocked by the hearing of my good friend Amy and my wonderful hairdresser for many years.. I first met Amy when she started doing hair over 17 yrs at Pocetta and we became very close friends.. My heart is broken.. I remember meeting Eva so many times .... Amy talked about the love she had for her and her son Michael .. They were her life.. Until the grandchildren came.. They became her life as while.. I can still remember the last time I saw her at Breaux Mart.. She had just got off of work from JCPENNY  and she buying some food to make for her grandson's dinner.. It seemed like we would always run into each other there.. She would always talk about her love of her grandchildren and someone would be always spending the night.. I told her the last time I ran into her, we have to get together and catch up on the years we missed.. and she agreed. 
But unfornately that never happened.. 
I will always remember the good times we had and the laughter we shared..
God has gained a special and beautiful angel ..
My heart and prayers go out to Eva and Michael, her grandchildren and her family and friends..

I am so very sad to learn of Amy's passing, and my heart goes out to Eva, Michael, Cameron, Kacy, Olivia and Sabrina, and Amy's brother and sisters for your great loss.   I was a long-time client of Amy's, and I feel like I know all of you (I did meet Eva) because she talked about her kids and grandkids all the time! She loved all of you so much!  Amy's warmth, loyalty to friends and family, passion for life, laughter and great conversation will be greatly missed.  I am sure she is having fun playing mah-jong in heaven!  May she rest in peace and may you all be comforted by your wonderful memories of her.  And all of her customers will have to live their lives a little less well-coifed -- NO ONE can cut hair like Amy!   Love to you all!

I am so sorry I will miss the service. Five of us from Penny`s were planning to go but the timeing is impossible for us this time of year. Dear Eva and Michael, I was shocked to see your mother's obituary in today's paper. I met Amy through Shir Chadash's Sisterhood.  She always spoke of you and your children with pride and love. Eva I am so sad for your loss. I remember always having a good time with your mom when we would spend time with her back in college. Praying that God comforts you and the kiddos thru this very difficult time. You were a wonderful daughter to her and your dad. They couldn't have asked for a better one. Love you.
