Mr. Alvin Benny Joseph Saucier

Beloved husband of the late Lillie “Dee Dee” Saucier.

Loving father of Preston R. Saucier (and companion, Vickie), Dennis E. Saucier (and companion, Patsy), Bryan K. Saucier (and wife, Mita) and Wanda Saucier Huth (and companion, Sonny).

Devoted grandfather of Preston P., Michelle R. and Erin R. Saucier, Jody Epperson, Dennis E. Saucier Jr., Sara M., Jada A. and Kala C. Zenella and the late David A. Saucier.

Proud great-grandfather of Kyle P Saucier and Paul J. Baxter.

Brother of the late Wilton P. Saucier, Irene Romero and Egear Vasseur.

Son of the late Eve Degruise and René Paul Saucier.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Saucier was a United States Naval (93rd Sea Bee Batallion) Veteran of WWII, a retired heavy equipment operator with Boh Brothers Construction Company after over 30 years of service, a member of I.O.U.E. Local #406, member and past commander of V.F.W. Post #3267, American Legion Post #396, Harahan Lions Club, a long time member of First Baptist Church of Harahan and will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

Aged 85 years, a native of Raceland, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Harahan, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Friday afternoon June 18, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.

Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
