Alex Joseph Martin Jr., passed away on November 4, 2017 at the age of 60. He was a resident of Basile Care Center for the past 7 years, and a former resident of Covington, Louisiana. Alex was the son of the late Naomi Griffith Martin and Alex Joseph Martin Sr., and was also a retired Jockey and a former employee of St. Tammany Parish. He is survived by his two loving children Joshua Joseph Martin and Samantha Ann Martin, and four grandchildren Blake Elam, Jr., Mason Elam, Ella Rotherman and Toby Rotherman. He is also survived by his three brothers; Medric A. Martin, Sr., Paul J. Martin and Allen J. Martin. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017.
