Adam Robert Woodruff was born on May 17, 1976 and entered into rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. He leaves behind his beloved wife Diane Izzo Woodruff. He was the son of Maryann Serpas and Roy W. Woodruff, Jr. (Maggie). He also leaves behind his sister Amy E. Woodruff; his two nephews/godsons, Benjamin Bardwell and Jack Bardwell and his beloved rescue dog Macaroni. He was the grandson of the late Paul and Elizabeth Serpas and the late Roy and Eleanor Woodruff. Adam was a member of the New Orleans Fire Department since 2004, obtaining the rank of Captain. His last station was at Engine 9. Adam will be sadly missed by many loving family members, friends and fellow firefighters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy. in Harahan, LA on Thursday, March 10, 2022 beginning at 10:30 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:30 PM.
