Willis Austin was born December 11, 1933 in Mesquite, Texas and went home to meet the Lord on April 14, 2021 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 87. Preceded in death by his son Tony Austin, parents Willis Gary Austin and Geneva Austin, brother Robert Lee Austin, sisters Darlene Austin and Mary Fredna Stanglin. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Kaye Austin of 52 years, sons Brett Austin; Kelly Butler and wife Frances, and daughter Hollianne Hubacek and husband Buddy, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends.
Willis served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and fought in the Korean Conflict. Military honors will be rendered at the graveside due to his honorable and faithful service to his Country.
Pallbearers will be Michael Austin, Stefan Butler, Nate Roub, Ross Hubacek, Jerry Daniels and Greg Stutzman.
