Vleta "Nawnie" Meek
September 30, 1936 – July 15, 2023
IN THE CARE OF
Vleta "Nawnie" Meek was born in Detroit, Texas to John and Mary Gaddis and went home to meet her Lord and Saviour on July 15, 2023 in Balch Springs, Texas at the age of 86.
Left to cherish her life and legacy is her daughter's Cheryl Shipley and husband David, Mari Hillger and husband Terry, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lenton Meek, daughter Linda Meek, grand daughter-in-law Amber Carter, brother Bill Gaddis, and sister Epsie Underwood.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Cowboy Church of Ennis or your favorite charity in memory of Vleta "Nawnie" Meek.
