Sharon Garcia

Sharon Garcia passed from this life the morning of June 28th with her loving husband by her side. In her last days she was surrounded by her loving family. She was one of a kind, a fun spirited soul, she was fierce and one you would always want in your corner. She loved with her whole heart and brightened every life she touched and she will forever be remembered and memories shared will be cherished.

Sharon was born in Dallas, Texas to William and Mary Moore on October 11, 1969. She is predeceased by her father William and brother Kevin Moore. She is survived by mother Mary, siblings Bill Moore and Wendie Chavarria. Sharon grew up in Dallas Texas where she met her childhood sweetheart Gilbert Garcia whom she married on April 15, 2016.

Sharon is lovingly remembered by her children Ashley Soto, Lauren Thornton, Gilbert Thornton, and stepson Anthony Garcia as well as her son in-laws Aron Soto and Alika Cruz. She left behind two grandchildren Kierstin and Jacob Soto who she loved more than anything in this world.

She worked at National Life Group for over 18 years where she created so many memories with coworkers and she created everlasting memories with her second family.

Sharon loved country music, attending concerts, watching her grandchildren play sports, celebrating holidays with family, beach vacations, being extravagant, loved to laugh, scary movies, the Walking Dead, Rangers baseball, crafting, showering her loved ones with gifts, decorating for every holiday, spending time with her family and creating memories with everyone she loved.

She will be missed greatly!

The Family will receive friends from 1-5 PM on Friday July 3, 2020 at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel.
