Opal Marie Dahn

Opal Marie Dahn age 94, passed away 12-22-24 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born in Broken Bow, Ok on 1-27-30. to William Joseph Scarbrough and Hattie Watkins Scarbrough. Opal lived in Mesquite for over 60 years. She was married to Newton Jasper Dahn and they had 1 daughter, Debra Lynn Law.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Daniel Allen Law & wife Rhonda Law, grandson, Phillip Law and Great granddaughter, Sarrata Law, niece Joyce Hallmark, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton, daughter Debra, siblings Vera Mae Jones, Thelma Joe Thomas, sister Iva and 1 brother, Otis Leon.

She worked in the retail business for years. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing.

She will be remembered for lifelong faith in God.

A visitation for Opal will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Friday, December 27, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
