Manuel “Meño” Saucedo Sr., age 71, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his home in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 20, 1949 in Zacateca, Mexico.
Manuel was a man of little words, he was caring, loving and hard-working. He always made sure there was food on the table and made sure to check in and make sure you were okay.
Manuel was very easy going, and never one to argue or hold grudges.
He was best known as Meño among his friends and was called Papí by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Manuel traveled through way of his work. Many times, taking his family along to create wonderful memories. In most recent years, you could always find papi watching the latest novela and enjoying his scratch offs.
Manuel loved listening to music, was a great dancer and never said no to a cold beer. He worked endlessly on projects in the backyard and always wore his signature fedora.
He is survived by his wife, Angelica Saucedo of 50 years, and eleven children: Jackie, Manuel Jr., Jazmine, Jessica, Tony, Julio Angel, Joey, Frankie, Nino, Deziree, & Adrian. 16 grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
