Kenneth Edward Teeter, age 73, passed away on June 14, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born on June 12, 1948 in Tyler, Texas to James and Evelyn Teeter. Kenneth was raised in Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Monterey High School in 1966. Kenneth proudly served his country in the Army from 1969 – 1971, and worked his way up to Rank SP5. He went on to marry the love of his life, Constance Rose Teeter in 1972, and the couple had two children. Kenneth worked as a tech for Lucent Technologies and Bell Labs, where he worked for more than 30 years.
In his spare time, Kenneth was happiest volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, playing golf, Lego video games, reading, and doing word puzzles. His family will always fondly remember him as a reliable person who was always willing to help others.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn Teeter, and his sister, Bonnie Henderson. He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Rose Teeter; daughter and spouse, Jennifer and Tim Yantes; son Walter (Bo) Teeter; granddaughter, Madison Teeter; brothers, James Teeter, Jr., John Teeter, and Jerry Teeter; sisters, Connie Teeter, Deborah Teeter, and Alta Reed; and numerous nephews and nieces.
