Born: February 7, 1962
Passed: May 1, 2023
Ken is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 34 years Kaye Miller, son Kyle Miller, sister Cynthia Miller and numerous other family members and friends that are all left to cherish the life and legacy that Ken leaves behind, including his many friends with the BSA.
Ken was born in Riverside, California on February 7, 1962 to Chief Master Sergeant Russell and Sue Miller. He then traveled around the world going base to base alongside his sister Cynthia and younger brother Doug while their father served in the United States Air Force. After many years of traveling around the world the family finally settled in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated high school in 1980.
Due to work he moved to Dallas, Texas in 1984 where he meet his beautiful wife Kaye Miller and they had 1 son Kyle Miller who was born on his father's birthday February 7, 1992. He worked on scaffolding and high-rises until he found niche in Pest Control in 1993 and stayed in the industry until the day that he passed away. Believing that a father and son should have a strong bond, he and his wife enrolled both him and his son Kyle in Boy Scouts. Ken Miller would then go on to not only influence his son to be the best man that he could be, but he also instilled these values in countless other young men and women. Ken himself became a Life Scout and devoted countless hours to the organization. He made Eagle Walking Staffs, intricate knot tying artwork, hand turned pens and many other items involving woodwork. Ken not only did these things, but he taught countless young men and women how to do it, and his life and legacy will be passed down for many generations to come.
