IDA Vetrice Woolard at 93 years of age from Mesquite, Texas, passed away on July 23rd of 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 -8 pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite Texas. Burial will be at Tyler Memorial Park in Tyler, Texas Friday the 29th at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gonzalez Funeral Home. Ida was born in Bonita, Texas on September the 5th of 1922. Ida was married to Albert Lee Woolard on April 6, 1945; they were married for 46 years. Ida was a stay at home mother and grandmother. She enjoyed telling stories about her loved ones and being with her family. Ida is survived by her sister Patricia Bottoms, three children, Shirley, Johnny and Gloria, her eight grandchildren, John, Peggy, Robbie, Amy, Joy, Heath, Bradley, Justin and other family and friends. Ida is preceded in death by her husband Albert Lee Woolard and her brother L. E. Cook and her Oma’ Gail Symons and grandson Michael Shane Steffens.
