Gloria V. Hernandez

Gloria V. Hernandez, age 69 passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on June 17, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to Timoteo and Sofia Velasquez. Gloria was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Crozier Tech. She married Fernando Hernandez in 1974 and the couple had two children, Gloria worked in the medical office of Dallas Medical and Surgical where she worked for many years.

In her spare time Gloria enjoyed going to church, praise and worship music, praying for others and showering her two grandsons with love, and loving her husband and family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving wife, a fantastic mother and grandmother, and an absolute prayer and worship warrior!

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Fernando Hernandez; sons, Eli and Eliseo Hernandez; grandsons, Fernando Xavier Hernandez and Eliseo Angel Hernandez and sisters, Andrea Velasquez, Maura Reyna and Juanita Villarreal.

Well done good and faithful servant. She fought a good fight, she finished her course, and kept her faith. Indeed fulfilling her purpose and destiny that was appointed by the Lord for such a time as this. Definitely joining the Great Cloud of Witnesses, from Glory to Glory and Faith to Faith.

As she journeyed through this life, she did so standing as a giant on her knees in prayer with her hands lifted to the Lord. She will be missed dearly. Yet we rejoice in her inheriting eternal life. Now in the direct presence of The King of Kings and in the Holy of Holies. In Jesus Name, Amen.
